Figure of eight walking

I started doing the figure of eight walking from today. Indian yogis are said to have known the benefits of this walk in ancient times. Modern western practitioners tend to call it the infinity walk. I’d started this a couple of months back but didn’t continue. I remembered it again when a friend recommended it a some of days back.
I’ve been walking back and forth in my living room regularly for the last six months. I started with about 30 minutes, I think and now I regularly do at least 90 minutes. More recently, I’ve also tried to incorporate Jon Kabat Zinn’s recommendations on turning this walking into a mindfulness-based walking meditation. And today I separately started doing the figure of eight as well, for 30 minutes.
It’s day two since I completely stopped Trinicalm Plus (Trifluoperazine and some other stuff), which I was taking for my anxiety and depression. Felt okay on the whole today, with a slight uptick in my anxiety at times that felt like one withdrawal symptom. I’ll probably feel more of it over the next few days and it will increase for a bit before subsiding and stopping. I expect it will take me two weeks at least to get used to not taking the drug.
